McGraw's Ten Laws of Life offer a solid road map for young people, especially those having trouble making sense of their failures and losses. Written when the author was 20 and prior to the creation of his other program for teens, BRIDGING THE GAP, the lessons sound less mature and refined than those in his more recent audio. Still, it's all about being responsible and not whining or blaming, and McGraw offers some excellent mental tools for teenagers to use to evaluate their lives and take control. The author's youthful approach might be just the right package. T.W. (c) AudioFile 2003, Portland, Maine
