Janie Fitzhugh is back in town after eight years away, dodging an abusive ex-boyfriend and helping resort owner Renner Jackson get his new place up and running. When Janie’s ex-husband, Abe Lawson, steps in to protect her, she’s surprised to find that he’s changed for the better, emotionally and physically, during her absence. Meanwhile, Renner must manage a professional relationship with his lender’s daughter, Tierney Pratt, who he thinks is spying on his business.
